Watched the whole fight all over again and i think Collazo won. The knockdown in the first was a so-so knocked down imo. If the ref gave Ricky credit 4 that then he should have gave Collazo credit for the knockdown in the twelth. What a rally by Louis in that round. Hatton was clearly hurt by the left hand before he tumbled foward to his knees. where as Louis was off more balance when he was hit. If u go for the man going foward, throwing more punches and being the pressure the fighter, then i can see why you have scored some of the close rounds for Hatton. I tend to go for the guy landing the harder more effective punches. Obviously u cant land 2 hard punches a round and expect to win if the other guy is landing 10-12 punches overall. When i first saw the fight i thought Collazo maybe lost but i didnt score it while i was watching it. I was in one of my old shawty's apt for a little get together and didnt wanna look like a boxing freak scoring a fight while every1else was chillin', drinkin' and relaxin' u know....... But for some reason i was watching it today, decided to score it and i think collazo didnt enough to win if not get a draw and retain his title. Shaky decision's by the ref about the knockdown and non knockdown didnt help the scoring either. I counted the non-knockdown in the twelth offsetting the knockdown in the first round. I ended up having it 115-113 for Collazo. Without counting the non-knockdown in collazo's favor, I had it a draw 114-114. What do yu guys think?????? Let me know hear your opinions people.
Collazo vs Hatton

I had Collazo winning the fight. I don't recall how I scored it, but I did count Hatton's knockdown. Some of the rounds were close and I thought that the momentum had gone in Collazo's favor. That was a fight that should have had an immediate rematch. -

I wouldn't count that incident in the 12th as knockdown at all. The last time I watched the fight I scored it 114-114. It's one of those fights where a few of the rounds are so close that they could be scored either way by different people who look for different things in a round. It was a very close fight, but Ricky got the edge on the night in a fair result.Comment

It was Ricky's big night in America. Collazo was never getting a close decision. That said, I think Hatton just about did enough to win it. It was very close.Comment

Is there any chance that someone could throw in a translation to this jumbled-up,incoherent mess of a post? It would be much appreciated.Comment
