You always return to what you represent and who you truly are, his boxing skills are amazing and got him money and fame temporarily, but inside he is just am insecure, uneducated thug, so we are seeing him return to his natural state.

If he worked on himself as a person more and grew along with his fame and riches, he wouldn't be in this predicament. Instead he chose to "make it rain" 24/7 at strip clubs, brag about how rich he is, and think he is above the law. Truly rich people don't need to flaunt their wealth like he does, it shows that he is insecure with himself and believes his self-worth is only tied to his bank account. Couple that with the fact that he grew up in a disfunctional family where he witnessed his own father and uncle beat on their women all the time. To have Mayweather Sr. as your father means you are ****ed from the day you were born. So prime reason why Mayweather Jr. is ****ed up is because of his dad.

Many good opinions here. Floyd just didn't have the character to be a great champion. He as a horible attitude toward life that doesn't get him anywhere. You can bet he will end up blowing most, if not all, his money like Tyson did. He got big and didn't know how to handle it, but look at where he comes from. His family is crap. Roger and his father are nothing more than a bunch of you know whats.

Too much money, too much time on his hands and not really prepared for his current level of success.
