Pacquiao may beat SRR and may not beat him. It's always difficult to compare fighters from different eras. Robinson was fighting very frequently, but at that time boxing wasn't yet developed and most of the opponents he faced were fellow americans. SRR is quite big in size compared to Pacman and heavy puncher, even if Pacquiao superior fighter size advantage would play big role.

Sugar Ray Robinson resume wise and what he did in his era may very well be the greatest boxer ever. However people really tend to overrate the past. Manny could very well of beaten SRR. Pacquaio really is a special atg fighter.

IMO there is no middleweight or welterweight in history who would have destryoed sugar ray robinson. ray may have lost to some guys but destroyed, NO WAY. manny is faster and better footwork than robinson, but robinson hits way harder than anyone manny ever faced and hes alot bigger than manny RAY 5'11 72.5 reach MANNY 5'6 67 REACH. considerable size difference

Ray is about a head taller then Pacman and was known to kill a man with a single left hook.
I know this is a troll thread, but we really need to keep our composure from looking too ******ed.

Why? Because, he beat Cotto, Margarito, or Oscar?

There is literally nothing to suggest Pacqiauo beats Sugar Ray Robinson.

I was watching some Chuvalo fights and I came to the conclusion that Manny can knock him out in 6.

Does the TS even knows how many times SRR lost at WW and cause of politics he was not getting the opportunity he deserved at that time?

Another opinion by a non fan without any research what so ever
