What I will ask Rom, if Froch controlled Dirrell and won, then what about how Kessler controlled Froch on the ropes and jabbed him around the ring?

If that's the case, then Dirrell landed more powerful shots on Froch than the other way IMO.Froch was rabbit punching because of the tactic's Dirrell was using,he was not fighting straight up he was using tricks in order not to be hit and they were just as dirty as what Froch was doing..
In the Froch Kessler fight I saw one guy(Kessler)throwing alot of punches that was not hitting much, while the other guy(Froch)was landing the more effective damaging blows..That's just me I always compare that fight to Devon and Kottie(even tho not the robbery that fight was)Kottie imo landed the clean effective shots while Devon was busy..It's all about what ya like I guess..
Also Kessler through some very good shots, but Froch to me has a great chin. He missed some, but in most of the exchanges, had Froch overwhelmed.
I am not sure if Kessler's team said he was losing, but I believe Froch's team were very concerned by round 11 or 12. I forgot their words though.Comment

Dirrell was stunned as well when in the corner he was hit with an uppercut similar to the one in my sig that put Taylor down..He was bleeding threw out the fight which lets me know Froch was hurting him somewhere in that fight which is why Dirrell was using tactic's where he could catch breaks in the action..Froch was landing on Dirrell and he was also bringing the fight..I had Froch by three points but it would have been two but there was a point deduction..I can understand that, but from the fight I saw, and judging on the shots that landed, Dirrell stunned Froch once and made him go to the ropes, and hit Froch with some good counters.
I agree on your point about the champ as well, however I ahd Dirrel winning by 3 round or something. I forgot now though.Comment

I shall re watch it sometime and if this comes up, I'll let you know then.Dirrell was stunned as well when in the corner he was hit with an uppercut similar to the one in my sig that put Taylor down..He was bleeding threw out the fight which lets me know Froch was hurting him somewhere in that fight which is why Dirrell was using tactic's where he could catch breaks in the action..Froch was landing on Dirrell and he was also bringing the fight..I had Froch by three points but it would have been two but there was a point deduction..
Kessler controlled the ring, out landed, and by a lot. Even at the points when you could say Froch landed a good punch, Kessler would throw back and hit in return.
I can see it as a close fight yes, but scoring it round by round, Kessler had him in my opiion, but again I shall have a look and see how I feel after hearing your side of the story.Comment

Everybody who thinks Froch will have his way with Johnson are in for a rude awakening. It will be a close and tough fight.
Pascal and Taylor together don't add up to the motor and will of Johnson. AA doesn't move his hands, and Kessler is different all together.
None of these guys are Johnson. He brings somethign different to the table. I picekd Froch to win by wide UD over AA btw and picke dhimt o beat Kessler close (had Kess winning by a pt. though..)
Even then I still think Johnson will make it close. Froch will do fine using his reach and controlling the distance, he will try to outwork Johnson with his jab. Then I expect Johnson to find his range with his right hand and force Froch to fight. It's going to be a good one.Comment

Of course, there's always cause for concern when you are fighting in somebody else backyard..They knew the fight was close so odds are they would give it to Kessler..The only robbery in this fight was one judges score card, which I believe was 111-119 or something..That was B.S.If that's the case, then Dirrell landed more powerful shots on Froch than the other way IMO.
Also Kessler through some very good shots, but Froch to me has a great chin. He missed some, but in most of the exchanges, had Froch overwhelmed.

Johnson has to stop Froch to beat him and I don't think that's happening. The fight will be an action fight though, and that's what I like about it. Johnson is coming to bring the pain unlike that sissy Dirrel.Comment
