Frustrating but what are you going to do?

Yeah it sucks but there really aren't that many fights out there to be made. Yuri Foreman is nothing. Paul Williams has no chin and is probably going to fight Martinez a third time. Which reminds me, at Light Middleweight I see Martinez knocking out Pacquiao. I personally don't see Marquez as a serious contender at Welterweight. Nobody wants to see a rematch with Cotto or Clottey. Amir Khan is never going to happen, besides with his chin he would get KO'ed inside of 5 against Manny. I think the best fight in the time frame given would be with Andre Berto. However, the ultimate prize is the superfight with Mayweather. Why would a promoter risk potentially the biggest fight in boxing history for a risky virtual no namer. Let's face it, Mosley still brings in a helluva lot more money than Berto and he's a safer bet for Pacquiao. Everyone wins. Pacquiao adds a legend to his W column and everyone makes out with more money. I also think with all the great fights Mosley has given us, he deserves one last shot at glory (he won't get it, don't tell him I said that). I personally won't pay for this fight, will watch it on replay the following weekend, but there are going to be a crap ton of people who will purchase this fight. Boxing is all about hype, it doesn't matter who Pacquiao fights as long as he keeps creating spectacular knockouts he will be the #1 P4P. Here's hoping Mayweather wants his #1 P4P ranking back bad enough to actually lace it up.

It's no coincidence that through 43 years, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has stood on the top of the boxing promotional totem pole, much of that with his archrival Don King being the other grand poobah.

Boxing is dead without Pac??? That tells me all I need to know about how much you know about boxing! But you're right boxing will be dead for casual fans like you and not real boxing fans. You're probably just a Pac fan who will be gone along with him.

Two other reasons Bob 'changed his mind' about Mosley being a credible opponent for Pacquiao: Marquez looked too sharp stopping Katsides; Berto look too dangerous starching Hernandez.
