Collegiate wrestling is dominated by white men here in the U.S, and MMA is there only outlet to compete in a combat sport.
Obviously there's nothing wrong with that at all. It's entertaining to watch most of the time indeed.

I appreciate BJJ. I don't appreciate the Wrestlers who come in and hold people down for decisions. GSP used to do this. Rashad Evans does this. Jon Fitch does this.

I pretty much watch UFC for the elite strikers anyway. I appreciate what they do. However most U.S fans don't see it the same way I do because the elite strikers in the UFC aren't even draws compared to Rashad, GSP, and Lesnar.

You kind of said it like it was a negative thing or something. There are a lot of ********** here in the U.S that love MMA and compete in it though. Cain Velasquez the heavyweight champ is mexican american. MMA is just better for wrestlers, and that's why you see more white guys trying to become MMA fighters rather than boxers.

The funny thing is, if UFC allowed headbutts..I bet wrestlers would rule every division right now (except featherweight cause Aldo is a beast)

If headbutts were allowed, like in a real fight..Chael Sonnen would have tko'd Anderson Silva.

There's nothing wrong with that of course. I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything.

To be honest I do think that the majority of MMA fans are young "adults" who don't appreciate the sport. I really do believe that though.

I agree with that. I mean, like I said in my first post, I think that most people who even watch boxing don't really appreciate the sport. All most sports fans want to see in combat sports are the super fights, or a good brawl, they don't care about the techniques. And that's why most fans are going to MMA these days, cause you see more brawls over in that sport.
