Personally I hate Mayweather, although I dont love to hate him, I'd sooner he disappeared from Boxing alltogether to be honest, then the real men can do the fighting without this circus going on around him and Manny.
What boxer do you LOVE to HATE...?

Trinidad yes.
Mosley was thought to be a a little lightweight who Oscar would walk over. That was a HUGE upset. The only reason Oscar fought Shane was because he didn't want to go to 154 where everyone else was (Tito, Quartey, Vargas) and was stuck fighting the Derrell Coley's of the world. Mosley was a cherry-pick gone bad.
Vargas was not prime and not the same. Oscar refused to fight Vargas for years and then after Tito destroyed him, after Wilfredo RIvera had him seeing stars, after Vargas' sparring partner stunned him...guess who wanted to fight him all of a sudden?
I've said it a million times but more important than who...is when.Comment

You mean at 156lbs? Yes, I enjoyed watching Oscar and Skeletor spar for 8 rounds before Bernard excitedly said in his corner, "this is the round, right?" and then went out and had Oscar writhing on the floor off a nudge. Then they announced their business partnership two weeks later (maybe less). Come on, Squizz.Comment

Vargas chin was cracked by Tito, he was already ruined. Before Tito he never been dropped and after Tito he got dropped by a light hitting Rivera. Looked ish against 'Shibata' Flores. When Vargas looked like "El Feroz" Oscar always said, I would never give him the payday. Once Vargas didn't look so ferocious anymore. Is when Oscar jumped on the opportunity to fight him and in a press conference said "I know where to hit him" pointing at his chin. Because, he knew Vargas chin was already crack.
Shane Mosley was an underdog against Oscar. He was at LW jumping to WW and hadn't beaten anybody of note. And, really didn't look spectacular against Rivera and in another WW fight he had against I forgot who. Not a lot of people really thought Shane was going to win at the time. Proving once again that Oscar is not good enough to win all of his cherry pick fights. And, Oscar didn't rematch him until Shane lost 2x to Forrest and looked like eh against Marquez.
There was some talks in the mid 90's of Tito moving up in weight to fight Terry Norris. Papa Trinidad was to thrilled about that fight. So they stayed at WW. However, Trinidad was having trouble making 147. And, in 1997 they went up to 154, I think they fought Troy Walters as a tune-up. He won that fight by KO. So since they were comfortable at 154 and was struggling for 147 they were going to stay at 154 and go for a big money fight against Norris. But, then Norris later in that year lost to I think Keith Mullings. So the big money fight was gone. So Tito decided to go back to 147 to get a big money fight with Oscar. They went down struggling to make weight and Oscar made him weight for 2 years to fight him.
He did the same thing with Ike Quartey. He decided to fight Quartey after Quartey showed vulnerability in the Lopez fight. Tito-Quartey was suppose to happen but it didn't get done. So now Quartey had been inactive for awhile. Oscar then decided to fight him. And, then "he gets cut" postpones the fight. But, nobody ever say the damn cut. Even Quartey manager came to a press conference with a magnifying glass to look for this mysterious cut. And, when Oscar-Quartey finally happens, Quartey had been inactive for over a year.
He did cherry pick names and he used perfect timing. He is a bigger fraud then Pac and Floyd.Comment

Oscar's career is perfectly summed up by this sequence of events:
After the surprising loss to Mosley, Oscar refused a rematch.
When Vernon Forrest KO'ed Mosley, Oscar said no thanks to that fight.
Then Mayorga KO'ed Forrest and Oscar, when asked if he'd fight Mayorga in a bout that would be enormous, responded by saying, "well...I'd fight Vernon Forrest. I know he lost twice but he's still a good fighter!"
To this day, that cracks me up. BTW, just remember that the only reason Shane got a rematch with Oscar was because he hadn't won a fight in about 2-3 years and hadn't looked good in ages. When...not who.Comment

Okay. This I'll give you. What about fighting Floyd and Pac though, were those cherry-picks as well? And keep in mind, I'm just debating for the sake of it. I'm not exactly a Oscar supporter.Comment
