I don't know if any have noticed but I have a strong dislike for Oscar De la Hoya. I just don't like the guy. Every interview he makes annoys the hell out of me. Every time he fought I always rooted for him to suffer some physical damage. Even till this day I hope he comes out of retirement to fight Pacquiao at a catch-weight of 142 or fight Glen Johnson at 170. I don't care, I hate that muthafucker.

Hahahahhaha. The only time I see you ever get irrational is when talking about Oscar.

Talk about making a name off of your dad (who was truly great). But I think what gets me the most is the jealousy towards fellow Mexican Saul Alvarez who by all accounts is a pretty humble kid. I think Chavez Jr knows Alvarez is the goods, and I think it bothers him greatly. Not to mention JCC Jr is a spoiled kid and really doesn't put in the work at the gym...yet wants all the accolades. *SMH*
damn, thats right on point man, great post.

i really wouldnt say i hate anyone, i kind of dislike amir khan because he thinks he's great even though his pro career is just taking off.
the only thing i hate in boxing is pacquiao's fans/camp. about 80% of them dont know sh** about boxing and believe anyone who he fights is a legit opponent and who he doesn't fight is a chump or scared. i don't mind older filipino people saying 'pacquiao is number 1', that's just them having filipino pride, i can dig that, i just hate people who think he is some sort of boxing god, and talk mad sh** about other boxers when they don't even know about their careers. michael koncz, alex ariza, freddie roach, and bob arum all look like shady f***s. when people hate on pacman for fighting easy opponents, i never blame him, i always blame his camp for setting him up for an easy victory and another ****** belt. he is talented, of course, but his 'GOAT legacy' people say he has, i just don't see it. i don't hate pacquiao, i just dislike most of his following and camp.

Forreal. It was as if there were really boxing gods and my prayers had been answered. Once again, Oscar De La Hoya had chosen a "name" so that, after poring through boxrec, some newbie schmuck on a message board could drone on and on about all the great fighters on Oscar's resume, conveniently forgetting how he cherry picked them all with perfect timing. And now he was going to force a great fighter in the lower divisions to come up so he could fool the masses again. I railed against the fight for months, called Oscar a disgrace, etc. And then...fight night. I damn near had a hard-on watching that ****. Perfect ending to Oscar's storybook career .

Exactly, that is why I laugh at the audacity of Oscar fans to even call Pac of Floyd a fraud. Both Floyd and Pac have done some BS type of moves that they should be criticized to the fullest. But, at the end of the day they were great fighters. However, Oscar is the real fraud because he is not great. However, he fooled all these noobs to think of him as a great fighter. Just because, he was great at cherry picking names with perfect timing. And, he wasn't as good as Pac nor Floyd to win all his cherry picked fights.

David Haye. Because he's got a big mouth, and hardly backs it up. More or less any British hype job for that matter. Calzaghe and Lewis being the lone exceptions, because they actually took tough fights. (Calzaghe later in his career, granted.)

Fail to see how Oscar was cherry-picking when he fought the likes of Trinidad, Vargas, and Mosley. Those guys were in pretty optimal shape. Say what you want about Oscar, but he DID take tough fights throughout his career.
