well what can i say that already has not been said about this topic and i must say all people that posted on here have really good/valid points i.m.o. but as for my 2 cents i as well enjoy shane/juan/manny and yes i believe manny will beat shane i dont know if destroy him though. as for juan vs shane yes of course shane beats juan because of the wieght but juan would give shane more trouble then when he fought floyd

I keep notiicing a lot of the Pacwh*res using JMM's lost to Mayweather in his lone welterweight fight as a viable reason for Pac not fighting him, citinhg he's unproven in the division. That said, in Margarito's lone significant jr middleweoght fight, he was stopped by Daniel Santos. Yet, he was an acceptable jr middleweight opponent for Pac. That doesn't make sense to me and seems a bit hypocritical.Comment

Why? I dont get that. Pac did nothing to prove he could fight at JMW yet he did and has Martinez's title to prove it.
JMM has proved that he can **** with Pac that's all that matters. Maybe not now but that is yet to be proven or the point. Styles make fights. The fans/paying costumers want it. Its not about "deserving" the fight or not.
Clottey, Margartio and Mosley all did not deserve a fight. You don't deserve to fight ONE OF the best fighters in the sport by losing or better yet not winning a fight in over 2 years. Clottey? Whens the last time he won a fight? Margarito? Mosley? "Deserving"? Who, when and how?
JMM who's a champion at his respected weight class is willing to jump up one weight class to meet Pac is legit. Especially with the story and drama between the two. Its either Pac REALLY doesn't want JMM or Bob just doesn't want to deal with GBP at all. Has nothing to do with "deserving". Bob threw that myth out the window in 2010 and now again with Mosley in 2011.
Like I said IMO Pac beats all the names Bob gave him. Its just JMM at JWW was what should have happened. Other than Mayweather Pac of course.Comment

Also Bob's not even saying that. He wants JMM to fight the WBC WW Champion to get a shot. Its ironic he's asking a LW to fight a WW when pac didn't win his WW title without a "catch". Its also ironic that he's asking a LW to fight a WW when Pac's a WW Champion and is not fighting the other WW Champion, but a soon to be 40 year old who hasn't won a fight in almost 2 years. Not to mention get technically dominated by his rival.
But its what ever right? Mosley was pretty signed to fight before Margarito ever stepped in the ring with Pac. Mayweather's not helping the situation with all his personal shyt but I really believe Arum does not want to deal with GBP let alone Mayweather. He would prefer to use the media and make them suffer while making his own cash flow that he has been doing for years. Yes nobody makes him as much as FLoyd does but why risk it when everyone buys every fight Pac is in anyhow and he can always use Mayweather as an escape route when other's are calling Pac out. Mosley needs to shut his old ass up, after watching the fight with Mora I don't even think Mosley would be even able to stop a smaller fighter like Marquez, he caught Mayweather with one good punch and then his follow up was real slow and couldn't finish the job.Comment

Did Manny prove himself at 154 before his title shot ?
Marquez is an elite fighter, and he already beat Manny at least once.
They should fight because of the history between the two, they should fight because it is the fight that MOST fan's want to see, and they should fight because it makes financial sense if Mayweather isn't interested.
Manny is a natural JWW and can easily make 140.
140 would be a fairer contest, and even at 140 Manny would still have a considerable advantage over the 37yo midget JMM. 140 would be a better fight, it would be better for boxing, and it would also be better for Manny's legacy.
It is clearly obvious why Team Pacquiao will not face Marquez at 140.....
