How much can we attribute the PPV buys for UFC to all the sports bars ?

    Yeah, the place i'm talking about stopped getting PPV's unless it's a big fight that they know will get people in there. That's why most places charge cover fees to, so they can atleast break even.

      Yeah, i have started to notice that too. I was at a local winghouse the week before the pac-tony fight and they were advertizing the fight with a $10 cover at the door. I guess people used to just go there in the past, hang out, buy a $6 plate of nachos, watch the fight and leave. The guy i was talking about told me that it is difficult enough just to break even. He said that sports bars can no longer rely on beverages to cover their loses. As far as the place goes, it went out of business only a couple of months later.

        Damn, that sucks man. Yeah, I know alot of places that don't get PPV's at all anymore. Must be getting harder to turn a profit in the booze and food industry.
