Re-watching Pacquiao vs DLH

Oscar is a professional and it's his job to show up at his absolute best not Manny's.

If a opponent of the Klitschko's comes into the ring fat/sloppy, gets humilated, and ultimately KO'd......who's fault is that?

Pac gets full credit from me because it's each boxers job to show up in their best physical form. DLH has been a pro for how long?

if anything, u could say he was dumb to think that he could get back his old welterweight body with proper training, but i dont see how this makes me give pacquiao more credit for WINNING the FIGHT..
but i agree though, pac deserves credit for not being an idiot and fighting oscar.

i really hope mayweather vs pacquiao happens this or the next year, so i can see u all cry like little girls on nsb:

Again out of curiosity in 2008 why would you think Pac could do it and not JMm when both gave each other hell at 130 9 months earlier?

Pac in his prime. Oscar's biggest win in the last 4 years(2004-2008) were against freaking Mayorga and Forbes. I picked Oscar by SD because almost everytime Oscar faced a good boxer he would get the nudge from the judges. Happened with Quartey, Whitaker, would've most likely happen against Bhop, almost happened against Floyd. JMM has a completely different style than Pacquiao. I knew Pacquiao was gonna be aggressive and would most likely get the decision.

Also, Oscar has no Trinidad like power. So I really really doubted he would of ended the fight with one shot.

I honestly picked a Pac 11th round stoppage victory. I try to find the post where I predicted that in another forum. And, show you.

But, bro that prediction was helped one cuz' I'm a Pac fan and two cuz' of my feeling towards Oscar. I even predicted Floyd(one of many disappointments from this vacation taking, woman beater, cell phone stealing, rent-a-cop poking mofo) to stop Oscar just cuz' of my feeling towards Oscar.

But, I always thought "I wonder how Pac would deal with Oscar power?"

me too...as much as i hate Oscar and root for PAC, it was still in the back of my mind that the fight was one left hook away from being over


the height and reach were too much i thought...plus the fact that Oscar has pretty much demolished EVERY smaller fighter he faced

my only hope in that fight was that Oscar would gas out late and PAC can squeeze out a points win

You got all of that from my comment? If so...then wow, I really don't know what to say.

I never touched on Oscar's physical condition, rather just mentioned that it's know ones fault but your own if you show up to a fight looking like ****. That's speaking in general and applies to any fighter.

And what does Floyd vs Manny have to do with anything being discussed in this thread?
