Re-watching Pacquiao vs DLH

Or like Glen Johnson moving back down to 168 after so many years to compete in a S6 tourney without any tune up?
I take your word for it. If that is really what you were saying before the fight then more power to you. Because, at hindsight is always a lot easier to look at a fight.
However, even though you felt that way you should recognize that Pac was not suppose to win that fight. Oscar was cherry picking a LW if that wasn't the case then what was the outrage about?
And, for your last line that was after the case. Hence I'm wondering if you looking at it in hindsight or going into the fight. Pac hadn't proved anything going into the fight at all about how he could compete at WW. Matter of fact this was considered a tune for Oscar at WW.
he didnt look like that when he fought mosley in 01, or trinidad in 99.
if pac wants to prove he can beat bigger mans, he should move up to 160 and fight martinez, then we'll see whats up.
if he is such a big risk-taker like u claim, he should sign the contract, instead he gave his paper belt away just to avoid a fight with martinez, not even @154 he would fight him.
its not only about what the sport writers were saying before oscar-manny, its also about what actually happened in the fight.
oscar was looking like ****, and yet u tell me pac deserves still credit?
for what? for signing the contract to fight the biggest ppv attraction?
because he definitely doesnt deserve credit for beating someone who was nearly a full a decade away from his best days at 147.
the only thing u say is that everybody thought its gonna be an easy fight for oscar, thats your only argument why he deserves credit for beating oscar.
no, he doesnt.
and i dont care who was thinking the fight will be pacs biggest challenge, because the fight itself was clearly a dissapointment, except for the sensationalist media, who couldnt wait to make a hero out of a midget from a 3rd world country.
he might did call pac out because he thought its gonna be an easy night, but i dont think that was the main reason.
he made more than 60million$ fighting mayweather in 07, which means he made around 30million one year later vs pac.
i believe money was the main reason, for both sides.
+ the victory over oscar had a positive side effect, pacquiao became the new ppv attraction.
both floyd and pacquiao became big stars after beating oscar, but floyd did it at 154.
look at pacquiaos ppv numbers before the oscar fight, pathetic if u compare them with the numbers he is making today, eh?
roach isnt dumb, he knew they will win, manny even weighed around 147 on fight night in some of his fights at jr. lightweight
fighting at welter was nothing for him, while oscar was looking like a zombie, i said this now 100x AT LEAST ffs look at this:
since pacquiao beat oscar, he is clearly abusing his star status to have the advantage in all of his fights.
in reality, pacquiao is no different from floyd, he wants low risk/high pay day fights.
floyd had only 1 fight at catchweight (btw. it wasnt a title fight), pacquiao is gonna have his 3rd soon against a washed up old man whose last win was in early 2009.
what a risk taker this pacquiao is, wow...Comment

That's all nice and dandy but I don't listen to anything the media says. They're corrupt as hell. Sorry. No video, no proof. I can easily start my own website and say Manny is on Power Pellets and post fake "proof" and it would go nuts. I have video evidence of HIM saying he's gonna go down to 140 if he were to win. So that means Margarito had to go down to 140 mister.
Okay lets say I do get a video, isn't that done by the media who you claim are corrupt and evil as hell?
Matter of fact wouldn't it be done by one of those guys who writes articles for websites etc?
Not sure what you are asking of me as far a proving Manny wanted Margartio is concerned.Comment

u could tell at the weigh-in by looking into oscars tired eyes, that he didnt felt comfortable weighing 145lbs one day before the fight anymore.

Oscar is a professional and it's his job to show up at his absolute best not Manny's.
If a opponent of the Klitschko's comes into the ring fat/sloppy, gets humilated, and ultimately KO'd......who's fault is that?
Pac gets full credit from me because it's each boxers job to show up in their best physical form. DLH has been a pro for how long?Comment

This that is going on in this topic is exactly what is wrong with this site!
How on earth can anyone blame the Oscar fight on Manny? Let alone, try and find any reason not to give him credit?
Agenda's and flawed logic (or hate) are killing this site.Comment
