Re-watching Pacquiao vs DLH

I just saw Pacquiao vs DLH and no I am not going to comment about how Pacquiao looked like a Filipino running back beating on what looks like a starving Mexican look alike of DLH. It was a great fight that catapulted Pacquiao's HOF career, that is all I have to say.

But what I found interesting was at the beginning of the fight they showed that Hatton, Margarito, and Mosley was at the fight.

And in the later rounds, I think the 8th round. Lampley was talking to his co-analyst (I forgot the name, the black guy who looks like Cleaveland from family guy) about Pacquiao possibly fighting Margarito and Cleaveland says "No, I do not see that in the future because Pacquiao's camp said he's going back to the 130 lbs range."

It's pretty ironic that 2 years later Pacquiao would have fought and beat the same boxers that were watching that fight, except for Thomas Hearns and Mike Tyson who was at ringside of course... oh yeah Reggie Miller too. Lol.

honestly, why do u hate oscar that much?
a none drained 2001 oscar would have given pacquiao one hell of a fight, even u as his number one hater should know this.

I think Pacquiao was perfect at Welterweight because that his natural weight since his fighting at featherweight division. He use to drained him self 14 to 17 lbs just to make weight.




FYI people don't give Pacquiao a chance to beat Dela Hoya at that time. It was the biggest upset in boxing.

Pacquiao is doing good at welterweight but that's not his ideal weight. He is consider a small welterweight. Actually he's a Jr. welter fighting at welter.

Hey I don't blame you, is a good fight to watch over and over again. And, I only watched it once but that was a masterful, beautiful performance by B-hop. I have the up most respect for B-hop after that night. ATG MW and ATG P4P hands down.

Going into that fight you thought Pacquiao was suppose to win that fight? And, I guess team Pac was going into a fight to lose...What elite fighter goes to a fight to lose? Of course going into it they would think that. However, what did you think about it going in?

If that is the case then why the hell was everybody bashing Oscar for cherry picking a LW instead of fighting a true threat in Margarito?
