It is Julio Cesar Chavez. The man was the best ever and no one after him has come close!!!I know some people (PR's) will say he had 60 cab driver wins on his record but thats bull, I want to see a boxer that is not Mexican start his career in Mexico and see how many wins he can get!! after that id say Salvador Sanchez, He died way too young he had the potential to be arguably one of the GOAT!!! Third I like Juan Manuel Marquez, The guy is such a gifted fighter, has fought anyone they have put in fron of him and went to fight anywhere and he is not done yet!!!
Who Is The GOAT Mexican Boxer?? IMO IT IS?

I'm Rican and I take nothing away from JCC. To me, he is by far the greatest Mexican boxer of all time. Tremendous chin, heart, and strength. I enjoyed watching all those years. Although I think he lost to Sweet Pea when they fought in Texas I take nothing away from him. His bout vs Meldrick Taylor was legendary whatever your opinion is of Richard Steel that night. The sad truth is that poor Taylor was never the same after that fight. I only wish Chavez wouldn't have given DLH that fight so late in his career. DLH made his "name" off of an old version of Chavez and to this day I really believe many Mexicans my age or older hate De la Hoya for doing that to a fellow Mexican. It is Julio Cesar Chavez. Chavez was a smaller Mexican version of the fictional character Ivan Drago... Simply put a destroyer.Comment
