the crazy thing is that pac's resume is better sure but floyd is actually probably the better boxer. that's why i think the winner should be in top 5

Not that I disagree with you. But, I think you letting Pac 2010 run and the Mosley fight really cloud your judgment on how much he has accomplished.

Only 1 of those paper titles came from a vacant strap against not the toughest competition.

Again, not that I disagree with you, but if that if that is the case then why don't more fighters in this day and age have accomplished what Pac has? If it's so easy that is.

True, there are tons of belts and there tons of weight-class that makes it easier to win belts in multiple weight-classes than it would have been 50 years ago.

However, lets not forget that his main record and best accomplishments is winning 4 lineal titles. Those are not paper titles, those are lineal titles. And, he has been the only fighter ever to win 4 lineal titles(Armstrong probably should have gotten the decision against Cerefino Garcia for him to become the first though)

You add that he won them, in legit weight-classes, no catch-weights to win those lineal titles. He has been the only fighter to win a lineal title at flyweight and at feather. 2 of the original 8 weight-classes mind you. That is over 100 years of history. He also has won lineal titles at 130 and 140. 2 Weight-classes that are not from the original 8 but to weight-classes that have a rich history, over 60 years worth of history. Since the Armstrong days.

And, for Pac to be the only man to accomplish this, is very impressive.

Pacquiao already in top 5 but Mayweather is long way to go. Mayweather is in top 30's.

Floyd's resume doesn't support it. Sorry.

Manny would need to do more as well.

In all honesty, they both need to retire before this kind of talk really means anything. If either of them starts losing people may begin to look at them in a different light.

I always hoped that Floyd could fight a fight where he is not the one that is favored to win, in my eyes. Like Ali was not favored to win and was an underdog against the feared Foreman. Especially since Ali had trouble with Frazier but Foreman smoked Frazier!

Even against Manny, at this point in time, Floyd is favored to win at 147. Floyd fans say this and quite a few of Manny fans say this as well. It's just that Manny will be the closest to representing a risk for Floyd.
