Remember when a few months back roach said pac man needed 7000 calories a day to maintain weight. Pac man even said he has to wake up in the middle of the night to pack in the calories. 2 months later and he would have to starve to make 140..............................gorge for 144.5 and starve for 140. I guess I'll just take him at his word. Not sure which one though.

Rubbish. What could possibly make you think that?

Just prior to the Margarito fight Alex Ariza and Freddie Roach both stated that Manny is a natural JWW and can easily make 140.

Ariza stated that they just cannot keep any weight on Manny when he trains, and that he has to eat 6 meals a day just to remain at welterweight, including 3am/6am shakes LMAO

Here is proof that Manny Pacquiao can eat " anything on the table " while training for a fight where he weighed in at 144.....

I honestly have no idea how you could have come to that conclusion, in fact the opposite is true.....

however the physical disadvantages meant that Marquez could not settle into the fight and get his game going to compete with the skills of Mayweather.

He simply could not take any risks against Mayweather's skills, because of the size disadvantage.

That fight was a physical mismatch, which is why Team Pacquiao's insistance that Marquez has to go to 147 to fight Manny, when Manny can easily make 140 according to Ariza/Roach...... is a total b1tch-move.
L.U.C., good observations, except the "***** Part"!!!

in what sense?every ww/fighter has to cut weight to make weight except for maybe floyd, so you believe that manny has to cut weight durin training camp to make 147 the day of the weigh in?

Now before you *****s respond with "Oscar was a weight drained zombie" crap keep in mind these writers/analyst were basing their predictions from what they see on paper...

No fighter is guaranteed a win unless they actually get in the ring and fight..

Sure the Zero losses column gives Floyd the thumbs up to beat Pac, but it aint guaranteed until Floyd gets in the ring with Pacman..
True but more significant, at the MGM,
Oscar was a 9/5 fav at fight time!!!

If they dont want to fight each other, they can always have a shot at Martinez, the number 3 pound for pound. For sure martinez would love to take all Floyd's demands and beat him up for it. Pac has argument in superwelterweight division too for he's a belt holder there.

Floyd can win but he need to have courage to fight that midget. I can say Floyd is a coward and Pacquiao is sucker with no skills.

Look at all the *******s get upset at Buddy Mcgirt's opinion. Hmm, let me see the number 3 pound for pound fighter, Sergio Martinez, in the world says Mayweather beats Pacquiao.
The only man to have gone the distance with BOTH fighters, Jaun Manuel Marquez, says Mayweather beats Pacquiao.
Most boxing experts believe Mayweather beats Pacquiao and *******s have nothing to rebut with besides petty insults and racial slurs.

During the first negotiations Mayweather only asked for a blood tests from team Pac after agreeing to ALL their demands and team pac walked away not Floyd.
During the second negotiations Team Pac only agreed to a 7 day cut off while the May camp wanted completely random testing. You also have to factor in the fact that Mayweather likely wasnt gonna have his uncle/trainer there if the fight happened due to his legal problems.

Do you think Pac would have agreed to fight Floyd or anyone for that matter if he thought he wouldnt have Freddy Roach? Of course not.
