  • Comments Thread For: McGirt: Mayweather's Adjustments Would Beat Pacquiao

Former world champion and trainer Buddy McGirt provides his prediction on a possible fight between eight-division king Manny Pacquiao and six-time champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs) will defend his WBO welterweight title against Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs) on May 7 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. If Pacquiao is successful against Mosley, the next logical fight would be a showdown against Mayweather.

With Roger heading to prison and Floyd Sr half dead (mentally and physically) exposed as the worst trainer in history on the Hatton Pac 24-7, Buddy is just trying to suck up thinking he has a shot at working Floyd's corner soon. Buddy should be a janitor since he already looks like Mr Clean.

mayweather does'nt need a trainer nor make adjustments. he'll spank pacquiao's no jab,no defense, one dimensional style easily. the **** will be boring then laughable to the point it aint funny and a waste of time. mayweather needs a real fight like against martinez then retire forever.

even wifebeater SR isn't as confident as mcgirt.

the whole wifebeater clan put together doesn't have the same confidence as mcgirt.

mcqirt is on point but it will be easier than that. if pac tries that jump in pitty pat combination junk against mayweather.he'll get countered so fast and hard,he'll be on his back before he can take cover from the incoming.the counters will be laser straight down the middle, fast, and hard. easy work.

If you think Pacquiao is Gatti, then you are wrong.

Pacquiao at this stage of his career, has a better defense, or at least, is harder to hit than....Mosley,Gatti,Hatton...in other words, Mayweather's best wins.

Marquez is a skilled but flat footed fighter and was standing here in front of the bigger Floyd waiting to eat some punches.

Pacquiao won't, Pacquiao will be a problem at least for the first six rounds.
