I dont think he is a wasted talent at all. He was THE dominanted featherweight of the 90's and people still talk about him.
He beat many world champions and held his title for 6 years.

IMO his ****y arrogant attitude is what made him fight the way he did, but also caused him to think he could KO everyone and ultimately get beaten.

That is his fault and no one elses, you're right. He did have terrible pains in his hands towards the end of his career though which must have impacted on his training as well.

Jones didn't knock Barrera out. Besides, Barrera was not the same fighter he was in '96.

Just as good as, he knocked him down and Barreras corner jumped in the ring to save their fighter so he was DQ'd but it was as good as a knockout really. would have been a TKO if they didnt enter the ring,
