In my opinion he would of stopped Barrera when he was at his best with Ingle between 95-98. Barrera was a terrific fighter though so would still have been a big test.

When did a fighters lack of training disqualify an ass whippin? It wouldnt be an acceptable excuse for Mayweather or Pac or Klitsko under any circumstances short of death so Why do you all get to decide he deserves a pass for being irresponsible and lazy. When a person does not execute prior to or during the fight its a fair and square beating with no need for "If".

the hamed that won the world championship at 21 was a much better fighter tha the one who lost to Barrera. That Hamed, like Mike Tysonn before him, started to think he could k.o everyone and neglected training. A tragedy, but the way Hamed leaped in with his punches meant a decent counter puncher would have a very good chance of beating him. Marquez would absolutley kill him.

You need to remember that Barrera completlye changed his style for this fight. NO offence, but Barrera was very un-mexican in this fight, he just refused to engage, like a puto. Hamed was surprised - I was surprised - but looking back, he did the right thing.

As for Augie Sanchez, maybe im showing my age, but he was meant to be the next best thing. HE was the last person to beat floyd Mayweather - people forget that. Hamed ruined him.
