Dosent matter what kinda style Shane will perform. If he still gots the accuracy of tha Mayweather bout then good night Pac. No way Pac could take dat perfect bomb Shane performed on May. Pac would collaps for minutes and they'd carry him out on a stretcher.

Very good strategy by Shane but the problem lies in is age and declining skills. Ten years ago this would have been an excellent strategy but I am not so convinced at age 39 with all the wear and tear on Mosley's body that he can bounce on his toes and move his feet laterally for a full twelve rounds in order to secure a points victory and yet alone to limit Manny's superior offensive punch output.

Well at least in my judgememt, Mosley biggest chance at victory in this bout is to try and back up and hurt Manny by trading and exchanging firepower with him like Margarito had done in that sixth round while Pacquiao was momentarily penned along those ropes. Backing up and going into survival mode as Cotto did against Manny will only potentially get Shane stopped.

This fight could not have come at a better time for Shane.. People are all down on him for the Mora fight. Why?! Mora beat Forrest who owned Shane. Mora is a terrible fighter but is very awkward.. Styles make fights.. Some fighters' best attributes are keeping opponents off balance with their abstract spontaneous awkward style.

Shane to me has always been a brawler.. He is a boxer in HIS dreams maybe.. But i know, and his record would suggest otherwise.. His victories rarely go the distance. He was considered by many (not me) the boxer in the Cotto fight. His problem is his terrible lack of defense which is often overshadowed by his extraordinary offense. If he can show Pac alot of head movement and maintain fundamental use of his fantastic jab, he can do some work. He needs to counter instead of chasing... He can seriously punish Pac if he dedicates his time to countering. But Shane's problem lies in being often matched in ring smarts by far younger or inferior opposition (wright, cotto, mayorga, mora).. Shane can do no harm by using his physicalities against Pac. But make no mistake Shane is NO superb tactician. He needs to let Pac come and unload the elephant kick of a right bomb of his... He CAN put Pac to sleep... But is winning NO decision...

Shane will be able to throw his left hook in this fight, which is something he couldn't do against Mayweather. Shane will have his overhand right and looping left hook to give him a puncher's chance.

If Shane will be able to let his hands go, which is a possibility, than this will be a very interesting action fight.

As you can see, I'm biased toward Mosley. I guess I have high hopes for him to put it all out there for one more night.
Id LOVE nothing more than Mosley to lay Manny out cold but i cat see it buddy, he's looked good ONCE in years, Floyd put a beating on him and worst of all Shane looked like he quit on himself in there. Pac man is ruthless and will Machine gun the **** out of Mosley. I think we could see Sugar Shane Mosle finally stopped.

But Can he??? Im not sold on that, Cotto really landed some leather early on and flush against Manny - Nothing. Mannys a hard case. His punch resistance is alot better in these higher weight classes.

I only remember Cotto catching Pac once against the ropes.. That right hook to the face.. But Cotto's strong hand is his left and he never landed it clean.. Your punch resistance claim is a little funny to me. He just hasn't been caught clean.. If Shane lands half the punch he landed on Floyd, Manny is going to sleep

Cotto only really landed AFTER the knockdown, his legs werent the same after he went down in the 4th... It's also the same time that Pac started to own the centre of the ring... Cotto didnt have any real power left after the 4th round.

Had he not gone down so hard then perhaps Pac wouldnt have been able to eat his shots... in the opening rounds Pac is clearly respecting his power but not getting involved.

shane is so desperate for a big pay day, that he doesnt even realize what he is talking about in the interview.
he is going to outpunch an 8 years younger fighter, who has a higher activity rate than mosley ever had?
that midget throws more than 1200 punches per fight.
shane is telling us what floyd is gonna do, he will just take a brutal ass whooping.
thats just dissapointing, pacquiao wastes his prime days to beat up a washed up mosley.
this fight makes boxing look bad, its anti boxing.
a year ago pac could have fought him after the cotto fight, but roach turned mosleys offer down, its too late now.
1loss, 1 draw, is that all u need to get a fight with the supposed p4p king?
