Sergio is faster, bigger, and stronger than Cotto. I don't see Cotto's team allowing him to take that fight ever.

I will say it right now, even if in a losing effort, Cotto will beat the living hell out of Martinez

This fight is never going to happen. Cotto was the man but he has taken much punishment. Another fight with the parah of boxing is around the corner. No way cotto fights margarito and martinez in the same year.

At this point cotto's hand speed is slower than yuri foreman, how would he deal with sergio? Arum and co. know better.

I like Sergio Martinez, but I don't want to really see this fight. People outside of hardcore Cotto fans have bad mouthed Cotto for fighting a guy like Mayorga, and rightfully so. But by the same tokken that's why fighting a washed up slug like that shouldn't propel him to an automatic title shot against an elite fighter. Cotto should have to beat a guy like Dzinziruk while Martinez fights Pirog and then the winners fight each other. But that's a pipe dream. At the very least, Cotto should've fought Berto but Cotto ducked him. Dibella said he'd be reasonable on the money split.

Right. Just like he was able to beat Clottey who isn't even that good.

Unbelievable how peeps on this board pissed on P-Will for wanting a catchweight (and praised Martinez even though he *****ied about it) but when Martinez will drop to 155 to scrap Cotto and he is king ding-a-ling of boxingscene.com/forums? Amazing how many people forget.

Anyway, I think it would be a good scrap and one id like to see. I would favor Martinez, but I really dont think it will be a blowout at all.
