It would have been much better if Marquez fights Humberto Soto for the Unified Title in Lightweight Division; or, Fight Andre Berto at 147lbs in PPV to prove to the world that he's got what it takes to be a PPV STAR!

Fighting Morales isn't that very interesting as Morales hasn't fought any worthy boxers after he came out of retirement!

Meaningless fight. This match up should had happened YEARS ago. Erik is no where near anywhere he was. Marquez is simply one of the p4p fighters today and is going to dominate Morales

Marquez fighting his size or smaller than him and fighting bum and loser Katsidis who was KO by old and lackluster Casamayor and beaten by Diaz who had 5loses on his last 6 fights...Now, fighting faded and shot Morales...damn.....Marquez if he doesn't want to go up in weight, at least fight the best at 135, Soto, Guerrero, Rios.... this is cherry picking at its best....

i had said at least one or two more tune up fights for erik and then maybe juan but i guess erik cant wait. erik wants to get smashed on now and not later which i guess is fine by me. i respect both erik/juan two of mexicos greats but erik after his third fight with manny and then his comeback fights have been/looked like s h i t. juan obviously way, way better at this point. best of luck to both men

Now i know that Marquez only wants Pacman for last big retirement payday...
Marquez is not serious in moving up in weight and fight a good fighters...Marquez will stay at 135 and fight another faded and shot fighter...
