steward does a wonderful job guiding established fighters who are able to stay disciplined and dedicated like cotto, wlad and holyfield
Has Steward ever taken a fighter from the ameture ranks and MADE them champs? He takes guys who are already established fighters, some of them world champs already.

Sr. was a perfect fit for Dawson because Chad has a boxer's mentality. Manny Steward works better for guys that like to **** a little more.

all this dont mean much, Dawson would look real good in the gym, but when the bell rings he will be the same ol fighter hes been. i pick Pascal to win, dawson doesnt know how to fight back when hes pressured he was exposed that night , changing trainers wont fix that. . plus i dont even wanna see this rematch, Pascal-Hopkins 2 should be next, let Dawson fight Cloud makes way more sense. . . Bhop beats all of em

I think Dawson and Eddie had too much of a friend relationship that could have possibly hurt him against Pascal. He didn't seem to raise his voice at any time in the Pascal fight or made it seem like there was any urgency even though Dawson was losing rounds that he shouldn't have. Steward will be the opposite, he will get his point across and bring out the more offensive side of Dawson. I like the switch.

                      What an idiot.

Steward made his name taking fighters from the amateurs to the pro ranks.

You may remember a guy named Thomas Hearns.

There was also Hilmer Kenty, Milton McCrory, Jimmy Paul, Leonzer Barber and Duane Thomas.

All born in Detroit, trained by Steward as amateurs at the Kronk Gym, and won world titles as professionals.

Can you name another trainer who has taken 6 fighters all the way from the amateurs to a world title?

                      ****ing dumbass.....
