dawson will probably beat pascal in the rematch but it won't be because of steward.

Dawson is scared of Pascal power and he knows that Pascal can take his punches, that's why he hesitates to let go his hands. I don't see Pascal having any problem taking a couple of shots before hitting back on the su****ious jaw. I don't see Dawson beiing more courageous against Pascal shots, so it's going to be like the last fight exept for the stoppage off course.

And this is why Emmanuel Steward is such an important selection as trainer for Dawson. Emmanuel can give him the game plan and train him how to execute the game plan against the athletic but C-level boxing Pascal. As long as Dawson executes Steward's game plan, he'll be just fine.

Dawson has some decent skills. But aside from that, he has a ton of flaws. Doesn't know how to fight on the inside. And hiring a trainer like Emanuel Steward isn't going to improve that aspect that he needs to improve on in my view. You pair his lack of inside fighting with his lack of the go getter mentality and you got a recipe for a fighter who is very beatable. He was very overrated on this site before he lost to Pascal.
