totowa, nj – former wbc and ibf light heavyweight champion chad dawson will be under new stewardship when he begins preparations for his rematch against wbc light heavyweight titlist jean pascal early next year. i like chad and all but everytime he struggle he wants to change trainers. The trainers is not the problem, its you! Chad can only fight at 1 pace. When it gets real he don't know how to step it up.

All Dawson needs is confidence in his own abilities. If a new trainer can help him achieve that, then this is a move he needs to make. No need in Pascal seeing the final bell against someone of Dawson's skill level.

Dawson is scared of Pascal power and he knows that Pascal can take his punches, that's why he hesitates to let go his hands. I don't see Pascal having any problem taking a couple of shots before hitting back on the su****ious jaw. I don't see Dawson beiing more courageous against Pascal shots, so it's going to be like the last fight exept for the stoppage off course.

& lol @ people comparing dawson to taylor. taylor DOESN'T even really have mental issues. taylor just gasses. taylor has LOW stamina, it don't matter what advice u give him....when he gets tired thats it.

dawson was a fighter who was trying to stay calm in the pascal fight. eddie was trying to keep him calm. unfortunately he needed to be the aggressor from the opening bell out. pascal also had a HUGE ring and a slick gameplan. he would flurry on dawson about twice and then run around the ring for the rest of the round because he knew the judges would give him the round just by doing that alone. so eddies advice of staying calm actually played into pascals favor because pascal could pocket rounds LOL dawson won't be fooled by this a 2nd time. or ever again.

everyone will see pascal taking a beating and possibly getting tko'd. dawson will be at the top of the division once again.....

dawson haters will be disappointed......

Dawson cant stay with one trainer, He makes too many excuses when he doesnt get his way but i cant blame him since he's the one getting punch in the head.
