I could probably train cotto to beat Margarito

In the first fight margarito just wore him down due too the fact Cotto did not clinch.. Cotto got no advice from his corner.... well no decent advice...

At welter margarito was a beast and cotto couldnt keep him off him in the later rounds...

after the beatings margarito has taken off mosely and manny he cant be even 80% of what he was..

Add too that the fact Cotto is now at 154 and the size differance is not so big...

Bob Arum if you look at the first fight picked a rather small ring to envoke the kind of fight we all wanted.... Which suited margarito..

Look at how Arum freaked out when hbo pulled the plug on cotto's date in favour of Martinez...

When they both get back in the ring Arum will want the bigger draw (which is cotto) to have all the advantage ie. bigger ring bigger gloves....

Cotto does big number and Arum will want him for Manny in 2011..

How do you beat margarito at 154 if your cotto???? easy Joe Cortez and teach Cotto how to clinch or to move off the jab then throw the right hand...

He cant keep the pressure of Margarito off him all night but he can clinch. throw the right thats there all night long and the left hook.. tony has always been open too that..

In short bigger ring.. move and clinch after he gets off.. and Joe Cortez

Cotto won't clinch and he can't fight while going backwards. This is by far the worst possible match up for him.

Cotto likes to be the bully. When the roles are reversed however, he panics and loses his confidence and he'll quit.

I think you underestimate how well he can box.. give him a bigger ring against margs and he will ud him all night...

Cotto now has a trainer.... not the best for his style but he has a trainer and in a decent size ring and some clinching he beats margarito...

Pretty much. Margarito will always have his number, and if they fight a rematch you'll see that. The two things he would need to do to beat Margarito's pressure and workrate, clinch and box well off the backfoot, Cotto isn't good at.

Not true. While Miguel isn't the great going backwards I certainly wouldn't say he can't fight going backwards. He is actually above average on his back foot and shown that he can do it well when he faced Shane Mosley. Cotto does like to be the bully but he doesn't panic. Pac fight he never recovered from the second knockdown and the Margarito fight he was gassed. He will stop Margarito in the rematch due to Margarito really having no power in his gloves as shown in the Mosley and Pacquaio fights.
