I like that they're building Sergio's name. Everyone knows Cotto but we all know what Arum wants after this Mayorga fight. With Sergio you actually have options to follow through with. More controversy with a possible Manny/Floyd fight, a 3rd fight with Paul. A rematch with Pavlik or even a showdown with a relatively unknown boxer to the casual fans with Pirog. Good for HBO

I don't know why everybody is acting like HBO turned down Cotto-Mayorga?

Cotto-Mayorga was Never, ever offered to HBO.

              It was Cotto-Vanes for 1.5mil.

Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and Mosley are all at the end of their tethers. It's time to let the young guns fight them rather than the top cats.

True. Who knows, maybe they (HBO) can offer them another date and we get it on regular HBO instead of PPV.

Or maybe HBO could have talk to both promoters and offered it as a double header from different venues.

But, HBO is not that smart.
