I never got that argument of why people like to think that Vitaly was the only guy taking the fight on 10 days notice?

Or they make it seem as Vitaly wasn't scheduled to fight on the card.

Lennox was scheduled to fight Kirk Johnson, Vitaly was schedule on the undercard against Cedric Boswell.

Once Kirk Johnson pulled out for the card to continue and for HBO show it, Lennox decided to fight Vitaly since he was already on the card, and a had a full training camp.

So anybody can say Vitaly took the fight on 10 days notice(Which is true) but Lennox also took the fight on 10 days notice(so lets mention that as well).

Thats a tactic the Klitschko fans use to defend the ass whooping a 38 year old lewis gave to him

They never mention the fact that klitshcko was supposed to fight on the undercard

People say that because Vitali had 10 days to prepare for the heavyweight champion of the world.

Lewis had 10 days to prepare for some guy that lost to Chris Byrd.

I am a huge Lewis fan, but to be offered a shot at the title without being able to come up with a gameplan to beat the Champ is a huge disadvantage.

Not if the champ is 38 years old, unmotivated , out of shape and inactive for a year. Vitali was in his prime , he perfectly knew lewis his style while lewis had probably never heared of vitali.

Again not true, because Vitaly was his mandatory, the #1 contender for the belt that Lewis was holding.

I mean Vitaly had 10 days to prepare for the HW champion of the world.

But, Lewis had 10 days to prepare for his mandatory.

I mean it goes both ways bro.

And, is not like Byrd whooped Vitaly ass either. Vitaly won damn near every round of that fight. But, in that one fight showed lack of hear and quit due to an injury. However, he did make up for it in the Lewis fight cuz he showed a lot of heart in that fight.

What a bunch of nonsense. Klitschkos then promoter Universum had to sue Lennox and the WBC in order to get this fight done. Lennox was going to fight Kirk Johnson with the WBC belt *NOT* on the line just in order to avoid Vitali. Then Johnson injured himself and the rest is history.

If it wasn't for Johnson Lennox may have continued to avoid Vitali. Not because Lennox was scared of Vitali, but simply because the risk/reward ratio was quite bad from Lennox' point of view.

A typically ****** thread. How could Vitali cherry pick Lewis when Lennox was the ***in HW Champ of the world?

Also, they both beat the ***** out of each other. It was a great fight.
