Hopkins never had power, all his stoppages were of an accumulation of blows. The stoppage of Oscar may have been legit bc Oscar was moving up in weight and it was a clean body shot, but I've always been suspect of that (ie Oscar may have took a fall). In any case, I feel bad for you people that can't appreciate Pac for the beast that he is.

Hopkins had some pretty good power way back in the day




As for pacquiao, I don't know why people say he's just as strong as he used to be, he's not. He hasn't KO'd Margarito, or Clottey and his only stoppage at welterweight was against Cotto (who the ref stopped the fight out of pity in the 12th but Cotto could have finished) and Oscar who quit like a b!tch.

His only real KO's recently have been against Hatton and David Diaz.

He's beating people by his speed and volume punching.

I think the biggest issue is...why does PacMan get accolades as the best fighter of this era, and BHop doesn't. Just a glance at their resume speaks volumes of BHops status.

Seriously, how can you even compare their resume's ?

And since then, Hopkins has consistently fought as an underdog.

You cannot compare Tarver, Wright, Calzaghe, Pavlik, Pascal..... with Hatton, Cotto, and Margarito.

Hopkins wins hands down, he has definitely achieved more.
