      he was overtrained.

he went through training camp to fight berto earlier in the year.

when that got cancelled and floyd fight got made , he only had a week or two before starting his 2nd training camp.

the guy had 2 training camps before the fight.
Agree he definitely overtrained. 2 successive hard training camps will burn any fighter out.

Simple: Floyd was just better than Shane, No more.

          - The obvious age difference, (father time creeps up in the most inconvenient of times B-Hop the exception)

It’s just a few things I felt worth taking in to account.
i HAVE TO DIASAGREE ON THE OVERTRAINING.

Shane was in early sparring for a Jan 29th fight. The fight was called off in mid-Jan and he tapered down. He restarted training in March

For a guy like Shane who is always in shape, and an experienced trainer like Naazim who is already familiar with Shane, I just don't see the problem.

Respectfully speaking, I trust Naazim's opinion on this more than yours.

Shane has ALWAYS been jittery. You guys are just noticing it now? I stated that about shane TWO YEARS AGO on this very forum when people were bringing up Mosley/Clottey possibilities.

Shane ALWAYS does that jitter ****, it's how he creates openings. Pascal tried doing it with Hopkins to no prevail. That's just shanes style. If he doesnt see anything he can hit, he just plays 52 Blocks pretty much. Floyd being the defensive guru he is just made it more noticeable.

You shouldn't blame it on Arum completely. Pac and his team are just as guilty.

This is the **** that really disgusts me, they just want to blame the promoter. Pac picked Mosley!

All those things are true...but this is also true:

                - Shane Mosley obliterates then welterweight kingpin Margarito.
                - Offers to go down to 143 lbs against Manny when he was looking for a welterweight opponent, he was turned down 3 times
                - He opts to fight Mayweather and because of his so called 'overtraining', he was gonna be fit no matter what. Plus he had Brother Naz on his side
                - The last time Shane fought somebody with a great jab was in Cotto and DLH II...we all saw what happened there
                - Floyd dominates Mosley
                - Mosley fights Mora who is a C level fighter.....now Mosley has rested and is even allowing himself some extra lbs by fighting at 154 lbs...no weight drain rumors or overtraining crap.
                - he looks like crap and ppl blame it on mora's style when others have beaten mora with somewhat ease....bottom line is that shane was breathing out of his mouth by the 5th round against some guy like mora.
                - the bobfather even said himself that mosley looked like crap
-Mosley looked great before he fought Mayweather.....Mosley has looked like crap in his last two fights and now he the "people's champ" will finally accept the challenge
                - this fight is a joke and i am glad you acknowledge that. boycott that
                sh**t

That said, with so many people screaming a potential hopeful fight against Berto please let’s all keep in mind that Andre already hinted in his last interview with Larry Merchant that he’s too green which for the most part would be a one-sided fight.
                - better to fight someone who has looked okay in his last fights than mosley, cant remember the last time Pacquiao has fought someone that had a positive streak goin in their recent fights...vs Barrera I, the last i can remember
                - wladdy klitschko fought chambers and was gonna fight chisora. just cause someones green doesnt mean that they aint gonna pose a greater threat than say the veteran shot lion (*ahem* mosley). holmes beat lots of young guys, sure he bulldozed him but its alot better than tyson destroying bums or shot ex champs. hope you see the analogy and logic.
