rewatched floyd-shane last night..arum should be shot

he should be ashamed for making this fight..mannys gonna beat the dog **** out of shane ....floyd beat shane up but he doesnt put punches together like manny does..shanes going to the hospital..HE SIMPLY CANT PULL THE TRIGGER ANYMORE..all that damn jittering and has me worried bout his health..he has no jab to stop manny from rushing in..this is gonna be brutal..he was breathing heavy against floyd and floyd was boxing him..mannys gonna assault him and give him no room to breath...**** YOU ARUM **** YOU

Shane looked horrible man..i thought it was just floyd looking great but shane couldnt pull the trigger to save his life after the 2nd round..whats all that jittering about??

I don’t disagree with you Larry, but I wonder how much of a combination of things played a factor those being:


- Inactivity for almost 2 years before fighting Floyd

- The obvious age difference, (father time creeps up in the most inconvenient of times B-Hop the exception)

- Rumored over-training, I read somewhere that even on vacation from training somewhere in South America he was still sparring in local gyms


It’s just a few things I felt worth taking in to account.

coincidentally I re-watched the floyd/shane fight yesterday also....larry merchant is so de****able its not even funny he went out of his way to discredit floyd's dominance when it became apparent shane wasn't winning...he was on some "everybody i know was picking floyd to win"...

now he's on some "mosley is a dangerous fight for manny".....

ain't no rumor.

he was overtrained.

he went through training camp to fight berto earlier in the year.

when that got cancelled and floyd fight got made , he only had a week or two before starting his 2nd training camp.

the guy had 2 training camps before the fight.

Like I said, I don’t disagree and if it came down to Manny fighting Shane or taking small hiatus I’d much rather Pac take a well deserved “vacation.”

That said, with so many people screaming a potential hopeful fight against Berto please let’s all keep in mind that Andre already hinted in his last interview with Larry Merchant that he’s too green which for the most part would be a one-sided fight.
