To make 154 mayorga is going to everyday and twice on sunday. It's alright with me as long as the plan is a big fight in the summer. Hope cotto gets a legit fight next maybe a rematch. My only worry is arum tries to sell us cotto foreman 2.......jk maybe

Like I said before Peñagaricano is FULL OF S H I T! Name value My ASS!! Mayorga has fought 4 times in the past 4 years, loosing 2 by KO!! His last fight was the 17th of this month against a TOMATO CAN & the 1 before that 2 years ago against Mosley & got KO'd...¿& now he gets a shot at the title? While ranked & undefeated Martirosyan & Wolak have paid their dues, yet they have to watch from the out side how a HAS BEEN THAT DOESN'T DESERVE A TITLE gets the chance they have been waiting for!!! co-sign here... Penagarciano should have just said "Mayorga" stands no chance of beating us and thats why we choose him. Cotto wants to fight a fat sloppy fighter whos been out of boxing for over 4 years and smokes on a daily basis... noone is gonna watch this fight except for the cotto nuthuggers... Damn, Bob Arum gave this trend of selling a NAME rather then good, competitve fights, some teeth. Now everyone else is following suit with this b.s.

Arum says that "80% of the PPV buyers are general sports fans and not pure boxing fans". But come on ffs, dog **** is dog **** no matter what color you make it. These promoters/advisors don't even try to hide the fact that their putting on crap PPVs anymore purely to benefit their pockets. When will people wake up and stop buying this nonsense.

I'm actually kind of surprised that Cotto would go for this. What a waste of a fight, and their selling point is hoping that Mayorga can lure Miguel into a VERBAL war. Mayorga might be a recognizable name to some (known more for his tactics outside of the ring, rather then skill inside the ring), but I never really thought he was a money maker. Very disappointing.

cotto is scared to fight somebody that is really goign to give him a tough time. vanes could beat him more so then mayorga. i like ricardo but we all know that his losses came from big punchers and cotto(who is a big puncher) knows this.
