I must agree, luckily you didn't say his defense looks bad because he 'purposely' took punches from Cotto and Margarito to test himself (yes some *******s actually claim this as an answer to Pacquiao's susceptibility to punishment). Pac is actually quite intelligent in the ring than most give him credit for.

Pac is an offensive scientist in the ring.. he creates openings that nobody else can and he exploits them like I've never seen..

He's also one of the best feinters I've ever seen.. watch his fights closely and how he adjusts on the spot. Sometimes doing double and triple feints based on how the other guy reacts and then he explodes accordingly.

Sometimes he'll feint once just to see your reaction, then he'll do the same thing and instead of bouncing out, pretend to bounce out then switch it up and the last second and unload.

The next time he'll feint once and then bounce out, and then the next he'll feint twice and switch it up again on the second one..

He does this over and over again adding something different every time to keep throwing the other guy off.

There's so many little things he does that suggests he's a lot smarter than his english speaking reveals.
