Oscar was getting hit a lot more than tito early in their careers. Oscar became known as comeback kid but did not stick. His mom died early in his life and she name him the golden boy monicker.

the only thing delajoto did better than TITO TRINIDAD WAS run to avoid getting KO (against TITO) fight TITO's leftovers (vargas, mayorga) and challenge and lose to smaller PBF, SSM, and get KTFO by MANNY PACQUIAO!!!! He also ran from challenges against Margarito, Cotto, Wright, Forrest, Jones. So your asking about who has a better left hook? Ask who's the better all around fighter?? NO QUESTION!!!

I'm leaning toward Oscar's. He could land a short left hook or a long left hook. It had a variety of range when Tito only had that short left hook. If you were in the ring with Tito and managed to take his short left hook away from him you practically rendered him useless.

Here's some highlights of Oscar against Tito. I was in high school for this fight and I still get excited when ever I see it. Oscar inside the ring was always awesome to watch

Oscar outside the ring is another story

Oscar's best shot was his 45 punch, the hook/uppercut

Trinidads was the standard left hook

Both great shots but for me Trinidad's was clearly the better

Toto was a naturally larger man. Oscar came up as a lightweight.

On the power of the hook I'm going with Tito by a stretch.

Though I was never a fan of Tito running to the ropes after he floored a guy he would usually take his opponents head off if he actally got back up.

Oscar finished a lot of top opponents with flurries and referee stoppages, and Tito would leave them on the floor.

I say Tito has the better left hook,I always thought Oscar's best punch was his jab..
