So I spent Christmas with Mikkel Kessler...

We all had a big party and at first Mikkel seemed to be enjoying it. He'd pick up his presents, and every one at the party could tell which present he was about to unwrap... he'd march forward methodically in a straight but effective line, unwrapping each with his right hand.

However, for fun I suggested we play pass the parcel, to which Mikkel initially agreed.


"I am very much likings passingz of parcel."


However, after a few minutes Mikkel began clutching his eyes, saying his vision was blurred and he'd have to retire for the night.

"At first I was enjoyingz it," explained Mikkel, "but the way everyone was passing parcels around... so fast... so many anglez... very confusing."


However, just to show there were no hard feelings, Mikkel presented me with my Christmas present, all gift wrapped. I eagerly unwrapped it, only to find a Supermiddleweight title belt.

"But Mikkel..." I protested, hardly able to speak, "I can't possibly take this. It's too much. I feel as if I haven't even done anything to earn it."

"Nein", said Mikkel, "you don't hav to do anything to earn it. I give them up very easily. I vill get another belt and give that away, too."

Jesus, he was a right ****.
