He lost against Santos while he was making his run to beat him in the final rounds due to a headbutt.

He beat Clottey with a record amount of blows, and hung tough with Paul Williams, a guy that I personally thought would beat Mayweather.


Margarito wasn't the best, but he was dangerous, and intimidating, and a good fighter who isn't backing down or tiring out.

Mayweather was also unproven at 147lb, it was his first fight in the division.

Also, Floyd ducked Berto? In that case- Cotto, Pwill, Mosley, Margarito etc have ducked him too right?
