He lost against Santos while he was making his run to beat him in the final rounds due to a headbutt.

He beat Clottey with a record amount of blows, and hung tough with Paul Williams, a guy that I personally thought would beat Mayweather.

Margarito wasn't the best, but he was dangerous, and intimidating, and a good fighter who isn't backing down or tiring out.

Mayweather wants no part of any of that.

tszyu was showtime and wifebeater was HBO, but that's a fight that should've been made imho.

hatton is garbage at 147 lbs. mitchell also unproven at 147 lbs.
Mayweather was also unproven at 147lb, it was his first fight in the division.

You're really scraping the barrel bottom with some of the names. The only name that I would hold against him is Cotto.

Pullcounter is spot-on, but there are none so blind as those who do not wish to see.

Spot on? You must be joking. He lists Cotto at 140 and 147, when it's well documented Cotto wasn't ready or in a position to fight Floyd at 140.

Also, Floyd ducked Berto? In that case- Cotto, Pwill, Mosley, Margarito etc have ducked him too right?

There are many debatable names on there but Berto can't be held against him whatever way you try and spin it.

Edit: Just realised you're the guy that gave Hatton 4 or 5 rounds against Floyd, Yet you're pointing out other peoples blindness- hilarious.

Floyd could've fought Cotto after Hatton, Cotto would've made it happen. Floyd took his Hatton cash and disappeared.

Point is, if the guy wanted to fight them he could've made it happen, just like Pacquiao is with various fighters now.

I thought Hatton won a few rounds sure, it wasn't a bad effort against 2 men.

When was he supposed to fight Berto? Give me a time-frame here. Not that Berto deserves a shot at anyone of a Mayweather/Pacquaio nature. How about- wait for it- Berto earns the right to fight one of these guys? He's fought Collazo and Quintana. Two B level fighters. If he started making a name for himself by getting in with better opposition then there'd be a case for Mayweather /Pacquaio picking him out of the herd.

How about now? the point pullcounter is essentially making is that the guy could've done a lot more. Pacquiao, as a true pfp no.1 should be, is going around fighting whoever, whenever.

When Hatton eventually fought Mayweather he asked him for it to be 140lbs, when Mayweather refused he asked for a catchweight, both requests were denied.

regardless, hatton was at his best at 140 lbs. we all know hatton got worked by collazo and after that fight he ran back down to 140 lbs.
