Great job - Wladimir is a future hall of famer. He is the dominant heavyweight for years. Inside and outside the ring good for boxing. He is doing charity work, speaks many languages, has a doctorate - we need more of those guys to bring our sport back into the general public`s eye.Comment

Since you seem to be the expert what Holmes fights defined his career as great? Was it when he fought a washed up Ali? Was it when he fought seven fighters during his title reign that had less then sixteen fights? Or was it when Larry fought Scott Frank or Tex Cobb? Who have to have been two of the worst opponents to ever fight for a heavyweight belt. Or was it when he fought that overrated Irish lad from Long Island? Please fill me in.Comment

In case you didn't notice my question had nothing to do with the Klit brothers. And Larry had close to 70 fights and all you can come up with is Norton and Shavers? Larry also had what more than twenty title fights after those fights and still that is all you can come with and you dare to call me ******ed? By the way Norton is only famous because he gave Ali fits but he still lost to him twice. And Norton was so great that he couldn't even win his title in the ring, the WBC handed it to him. I will also say that Shavers was a good heavyweight but hardly Hall of Fame material. As I see it the best fighter Holmes fought during his reign was a career light heavyweight and he lost to him twice. So, I will say that Larry may have had great skills and may have been a great fighter. However, I am inclined to believe that Larry's career as a whole was overrated. And why do I have this opinion of him? Because I grew up watching him fight and I was actually even a fan of his. But I have no problem calling it as I see it.Last edited by Ravens Fan; 12-26-2010, 11:32 AM.Comment

And again within a seventy five fight career all you guys can come up with is Norton and Shavers. And I will say it again I liked Larry but still think he fought some real inexperienced fighters and some real bums. I was also not talking about Wlad. But, I will go ahead and ask who was Wlad supposed to fight other then most of the top ten of the division? Please fill me in. And by the way I think it is a joke that Wlad will possibly fight Chiosra.Last edited by Ravens Fan; 12-26-2010, 11:54 AM.Comment

Wlad is unfortunatley in the worst heavyweight era of all time, theres nothing he can do. But that doesn't change the fact that his resume sucks and that he plays it safe without taking any risks against guys that have zero chance of winning... Wlad will never be a top 10 ATG Heavyweight.Comment
