Exactly. I don't agree with this fight, but JMM is 37yo himself, has been putting in the real work for years, and he does deserve the payday.

Also, Morales ducked him.

Whereas Pac has been feasting on Morales type "name" opponents since Hoya.

Manny has had plenty of paydays, JMM deserves the money.

I'd rather see the great dinamita marquez vs amir khan. Or marquez facing the winner of the bradley vs alexander showdown of january. Because juan manuel marquez is a terrific, a-list fighter who has legions of fans, is a fighter that is great for the sport of boxing, a boxer who for years has been facing the best of the best in boxing, is still among the best pund 4 pound and deserves big paydays.

In contrast, el terrible morales has been retired and now wanting to come back big at the expense of marquez while in his last fight erik was looked really aweful? El terrible has to improve big time if he really wants to face marquez. Erik should he try his luck with vicious ortiz, the ghost guerrero or el chino maidana..... Or get a tune up with a second class jr. Welter fighter as panamanian alberto mosquera, cuban casamayor or australian michael katsidis....

Or ask for a rematch with zahir raheem. But i dont think a fight with marquez is good for juan manual, not the right thing for neither of them.
