I said it from the beginning Manny is taking the Shane fight first to stay busy in the hopes of still getting a fight with Floyd next year. If and when this fight doesn't happen, he can fight the winner of Berto vs. Marquez. I'm good with that.

There was nothing wrong with Money fighting JMM in the first place. The great welterweight fighting the great lightweight is a fight that can be found in almost every era in boxing history. And in several cases, the great lightweight won. The only problem is that it was Mayweather fighting a great lightweight. Then came all the bull**** from the Pacwh*res about JMM not being able to carry the weight to crap on the fact that Mayweather made a bad sparring partner, after a two year layoff, outta a guy that's taken about 18 of 24 rounds from Pac.

Problem is, Mr P4P, Fighter of the Decade, and all that other bull**** will be "staying busy" for three straight fights now. I mean, when is he gonna fight an elite fighter? Mayweather isn't the only elite guy out there. Pac holds a 154 belt. Martinez is everyone's P4P #3 and willing to fight him at 154. JMM has beaten his ass twice, and is still a top 5 P4P. How in the hell does the P4P King get a pass for taking three straight tune-up fights?

But if he did man up and beat Berto then yes he deserves a shot against Pacquiao at 147 but $5million guarantee and 5 bucks over 500,000 is crazy. It should be $2 million guarantee and $1 over 1 million.

First it was money, and now it's the weight, Arum just won't let Marquez anywhere near Manny, plain and simple.....
