as bad as the mosley manny fight is !!! that doesnt make any sense !!! they would loose more potential customers , then they would steal from manny vs mosley

you're right, but until HBO puts their foot down, Top Rank is going to keep holding them hostage and giving us garbage fights, i mean whats going to stop them? youre right though im not saying its smart business, im just saying nothing is going to stop Top Rank if HBO keeps letting them do whatever they want.

do they love them? last i heard they will compete against Cotto's next ppv, and Bob says there are other outlets for the Manny Pac-Shame Mosley fight, i was getting the impression they werent too happy, do know something otherwise?

They arent competeing agianst TR, TR is competeing against HBO

i hear what you're saying but if HBO puts their foot down and tell Arum to eff off , Showtime will be more than willing to step in to brodcast the most popular fighter out !!!! Casual Fans go to / buy Manila Ice fights for the same reason they bought Mike fights to see some one get beaten the f-ck up and until manny stops delivering they will continue buying and arum will continue his match making

HBO will be part of the PPV lets not be silly.

I blame HBO more than I do GBP/TR/Floyd/Pac Ross Greenburg has to go.

And, pretty much the last 2 Cinco de Mayo weekends have not been headlined by a Mexican. And, were still successful.

However, lets say HBO would want to compete against TR and Pac, which they won't anybody who thinks they will is just being ridiculous, why would they do it on PPV? If they really wanted to stick it to them why not just do it on regular HBO?

Matter of fact if GBP wants to stick it to Mosley and Arum. They should try to have HBO or Showtime(since HBO will be part of this PPV is silly to think that they won't) do one of their free weekend subscription and have a triple header with JMM-Morales, Guerrero-Katsidis, and Alvarez-Hatton/Senchenko. It would cost a lot to make but if GBP has to do what promoter should do and go in their pocket to make this happen then so be it. And, if they take a lost then it is, what it is. And, stage it in Estadio Azteca where it belongs.

Again not everybody has showtime but if they do a free showtime weekend than pretty much everybody who has cable will be able to watch the fight.

Instead what they should do is have Abner Mares fight Joseph Agbeko instead.

They should also have Juan Manuel Marquez defend the titles against John Murray.

They should also include their prospects Frankie Gomez, Luis Ramos Jr, Carlos Molina, Antonio Orozco, and Jessie Vargas.

That would make a lot of money.

The event should be televised on Showtime.
