I don't want to hear about cashing in. I don't watch boxing to see fighters cashing in.

When you're an elite fighter and you only going to fight 1 or 2 times than every time it better be against the best available opponent.

It wasn't OK when Floyd did it and is not OK what Pac is doing.

Maybe if you going to fight 4 or 5 times a year then OK, fine have 2 or 3 tune-ups or cashing in type of fights. But, if you're going to only fight 1 or 2 times a year then every single opponent should be the best available opponent.

        Enough pull?

What ever happened to fighting "the best"?

Alexander/Bradley at 140 is better than a Shane fight.

Martinez at 154 is better than a Shane fight.

Berto at 147 is better than a Shane fight.

JMM at 135 is better than a Shane fight. So basically you're admitting Pac is a cherrypicker. What made him go "get" Mosley?

To be fair to Pac here, at least he's fighting regularly........Floyd's inactivity pisses me off as a fan.

"A Floyd Mayweather fight is like a superbowl.....it only happens once a year, so you better watch it" - i hate it when he says that....but in his mind it increases his drawing power......he's so inactive that when he does fight it get's notice.

I don't see anything wrong with the choice as much as I do with the pool of opponents.

Here is how I saw it from the jump:

            Berto: D (maybe D+)
            Marquez above 135: D-
            Mosley: D

All three are equally terrible. Manny KO's Marquez and Berto in under 7 rounds, and Mosley makes it to round 10 or 11 before it gets stopped.

The only challenges for Manny is Floyd and Martinez....and possible Williamsif he can rebound.

Best scenario for Boxing, Pac gets Ko'd Vs Mosley. Floyd gets beat in his next fight.

These two pu$$ies stock drops and the demand for this fight is down, at which point they finally agree to fight each other on a Jones Vs Hopkins rematch level, for less money.

              Andre Ward becomes P4P King.

Mosley was the best option out of:

                Bradley/Alexander winner
                JMM
                Martinez
                Berto

                Stop bro.

That could very well be the best scenario right now.

But, TBH for me Floyd is just irrelevant right now. Until I hear something boxing related coming from his side he just irrelevant for the sport as far as I'm concerned.

Whats sad is that Pac is active yet becoming irrelevant. Wasting his prime years.
