By the time May comes around, about half of the people who are totally against this fight and are hating on Arum and Pacquiao will suddenly jump on the Mosley bandwagon hoping and praying he KO's Pacquiao by bringing up facts about Mosley's past fights and such (wait for it...).

Remember how everyone was when they signed Margarito vs Pacquiao? It was amazing how many people on this board changed their tunes as the months passed.

I'm not overly excited about the fight like everyone else, but again...let's not front like all of us are "boycotting" the fight and won't watch it.

For Top Ranks' sake, they better have one hell of an undercard.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see Mosley KO Pacquiao, but I know the chances of it happening are pretty much nothing.

I loved the old Pacquiao, but this version is complete garbage. Not rooting for him again until he stops with this rubbish.

Arum doesn't give a ****, he already knows the score of the game before it's played.
Wasnt like this. turn to espn right now. The public media arent familiar with Margarito like they are with shane, they have seen Shane get his ass whooped in a major ppv. Everybody Pac fan or not are pulling pants down and taking ****s all over this fight.

You would think it would go down like that but it isn't. That fight had controversy throughout the whole lead up, Mexican support, and the whole what if Margarito isn't done factor to it. This fight isn't going to have that feel and will fall well short of 1 millions buys. This fight screams trainwreck and will do probably in the 750,000 range. People are going to be surprised at how poorly it does, considering Shane is somewhat of a name.

You know it's not even that I'm worried about this fight being a PPV hit (it's not going to be). I just feel like Shane Mosley is just going to show up for a paycheck and might even quit on his stool or let Naz throw in the towel. It's going to resemble the De La Hoya fight, I'm just waiting for Roach to spew out "Mosley can't pull the trigger".

Because general public and ESPN experts are ******s.

They called a mismatch Hopkins vs Pavlik because Hopkins looked like **** against Calslappy and was "old", but everyone looks like **** against Slappy, same against akward Mora and Floyd.

                Mosley would still ko Berto....

He's the best fight out there since Floyd isn't available.

I think he's a bigger threat than Berto,Bradley and even JMM.
JMM was Pac's nemesis at 130 wich is Juan natural weight...
But over 140 pounds Pacquiao kills him.

the people aren't going to stand for these games anymore. the public has voice their opinion on who they'd like to see fight pacquiao and it's really down to two guys, and one of them isnt mosley.

it's either floyd, which is a stretch for a multitude of reasons, and the other is JMM, who is more than worthy of getting a fight with pacquiao, which pacquiao has some unanswered questions pertaining to JMM. both of their fights raised more questions than they answered and it has the potential of being a fight that settles the score, or leads to one or two more fights, outcome pending.

and to be honest, as a pacquiao fan, i'd rather see him retire than to continue taking fights like these. for casual fans these type of matches that pacquiao is doing are great because they know **** all about boxing, but to us real boxing fans, and being a fan of pacquiao, you/we can not keep defending him with these type fights. pacquiao needs to start giving the fans what they want not sell us what they want.

before, these type fights were tolerable because pacquiao was moving up in weight and the weight and size was in question, now that pacquiao has proven that he can hang with guys who are bigger, it's time to stop playing these games, get rid of this business model, and make even bigger fights. you can sell the general public with this but soon it will get called out by them and those who usually help in selling the fight, ie reporters, etc.

but we're seeing the real hardcores starting to call this stuff out. like i said, it was one thing coming up, now pacquiao is up, there is no need to keep up the charade.

arum's old ass is always thinking the same model works every time and no one is going to figure it out, what a crock.

arum tries to say mosley is bigger draw than JMM, if that isnt a down right lie and an obviously ****** statement and observation. how dumb does arum think everyone is????

arum trying to say a mexican vs pacquiao isnt going sell as much as mosley??? JMM fights out of his country he has the country supporting him, mosley, sad to say, only has hard core fans follow him.

arum trying to say there isnt a market for JMM, what a crock os steamy sheit!! if there is a market for grandma fisting and german sheit and piss films, then there is a market for JMM or anything for that matter..........

i'm not against carefully crafted match making and career building but i am against blatant obviousness of, i hate to say it, but, cherry picking........ they all do it, and it's done throughout a guys career, thats fine, but now it is being over used and it's clear as day as to how arum and company operate.........

it's time to stop tolerating this type stuff and call it out, and take action. don't support it, start calling it out, we have strength in numbers, if sales go down, this crap stops...... the best way to hurt them is in the wallet, they'll change their game once arum and company FEEL IT in their numbers.......

We all know now,at 147 or 140, with that power and speed, at his best weight, Pacquiao is supposed to kill Berto,Mosley old ass and JMM (dude get dropped by Kastidis, bullied by Diaz at 135 but he's beating Pac at 140??) BUT AT LEAST,
Mosley has a puncher chance(ask Floyd).
I mean, forget Mora, Mosley is still a bigger threat than Margo, a better and stronger fighter.
Mora is just underrated (cuz no bum) and a middleweight and is harder to hit than Manny, he has a win over Forrest and a draw with Mosley.
                    DAN RAFAEL IS A CLOWN.

I hope the PPV bombs hard. They kind of got it in their heads that people would put up with fights like this after Pac-Marg did more than 1 mil. Goddamnit Pac, tigilan mo nga ang mga walang kwentang laban na ganito.
