You are quite the optimist! This is the most unnecessary, high profile fight in ages. It is lousy for the sport. If HBO were not so willing to eat such crap, it could have easily been avoided. The PPV numbers will reflect the fans who will watch Pacquiao fight anyone. The odds of this losing money are not good due to the overseas base Manny has established, but I would be pleased to hear that it does 350,000 buys at most. That is quite low and would be regarded as an insult toward Manny.
I will not support this junk and shall be sceaming "BOYCOTT" until my voice is faded and raw.
Now that President ***** has shown some spunk with DADT, Stark and 9/11 responders health care, I can place my fury toward the lazy, greedy, uncontrolled, actions of certain Boxing promoters and their clients.

Get real. He had no business fighting half of the ABC titlists on his way up. Sure - it would have looked good on paper - but it would also have taken an eternity and half of them weren't worthy of lacing his boots.

Aside from Mayweather, Pac has faced pretty much every major threat/name on his way up. Many were ATG and he often fought them more than once.

He's risen 30lbs and continues to knock the **** out of far bigger guys. For someone the size of Pac to even GET IN THE RING against a monster like Margarito (and Clottey) shows balls of steel. Throw some of today's lightweights in against these guys and they'd end up in hospital. The risk to Pac's health absorbing hits from Margo, Clottey and Mosley must be serious.

He's earned the right to pick and choose his opponents. He has nothing left to prove. If this wrecks your need for instant gratification try a ****o or drugs.
