PBF has good power enough to beat the crap out of a fighter. Let's not forget that Hatton doesn't have a great power either. Both Hatton & PBF has good power, but not great power like Chico or Pac.

This is a ****ing joke. Floyd is so misunderstood by some... His weakness is his hands like many have already pointed out. Despite all that, he's kept winning. I'll agree that his toughest fight was the first against Castillo. Although I think PBF did enough to win.

PBF sure as hell must be doing something right. He's the topic of conversation all the time

I think he's the best fighter I've ever seen and the most entertaining one at that. Boxing needs more people like Floyd Mayweather. It would be more interesting to say the least.

        Hm..

I think there's no point in talking about the 1st Castillo fight...It's old news. It was a close decision it could of gone either way, but a robbery? No, I think not. Besides, Mayweather disposed of Castillo rather EASILY the 2nd fight, so why talk about the first?

I think the only thing that can beat Mayweather is pressure, pressure, pressure. No one below 154 will be able to box him, he has too much skill, too much speed, its near impossible to beat him on the outside unless you're like 6'8'' and your reach is 80''. I've never seen Floyd get caught with a 1, 2 to the head so I think the only thing that will beat him is constant pressure for about 8-9 rounds and a KO in the late championship rounds.

Floyd would dispose of Cotto easily, but Hatton would be a tough fight.

Just for the record, I think Floyd is lying when he says he doesn't study fighters. I'm willing to bet he even looked at Gatti. The guy is a workhorse, he works his ass off, studies fighters, and want's his name in history.

I bet your right about the studying for fighters he has too , I mean what would he look like talking the way he does and just coming in and fighting a guy who he has no idea about at all , Would his dad even let him.

Great post! Yes I forgot about his hands, he broke his hand many times. That is his biggest weakness. That is the reason he puts on those huge gloves. A boxer will lose some power with a big glove.

Just coming out of prospect!!!!! What planet are you on????

He has already beat more well respected fighters than most considering he has only fought 24 fights(20 by KO)

I mean N'Dou ,Maussa(ok fights like a windmill) Pinto, corley and the man who gave the Pretty Boy a lot of trouble Sosa(totally mashed him up lol)

And he avenged his only defeat from the amatuers last time out which lays any demons to rest.

Yep not too shabby for a prospect(especially one who had to fight for his life after a serious accident.

Go try watching some fights without those rose tinted glasses on.

If we have this poll on ESPN, then you will see the real answer. When you have 20,000 votes. PBF won the fight with an injured shoulder.

If he had an injured shoulder, maybe that fight doesnt mean much. But he lost the fight.

Why, you think we're biased so you want a bigger sample?
