If he chose to fight JMM at 147, there would be just as much criticism. If he chose Berto, there would still be Mosley and JMM waiting there for the next fight. These fights are going to happen regardless what people say. At this point, its all about what order it falls in and Mosley has his best shot at Pac the sooner he gets it. It might as well be Mosley first because its going to happen anyway.
How the **** can you Pacquiao fans support this choice?

pretty simple, fans will always support their fighter... casual fans don't give a fine **** against the opponent, it's the draw dude they want to see anyways... don't be surprised if this garbage of a fight (as per hardcore fans) makes the 1M PPV mark... vegas desperately need a big fight anyways (not a good scrap that barely make 5000 live gate)...
by the way, fight is going to be on the welterweight limit against a top 5 welterweight... oh right, i'm a *******, what can i say?...Comment

I don't like the fight not one bit, but it's better than Mayweather vs Josie or Mayweather vs Security Guard.Comment

Not watching it.
I expect a lot of people not to watch it either.
I don't want to see Pac fighting a washed up old man.
Not gonna pay $50 for a fight where I already know the outcome.Comment

Pacquiao is in a 'damn if you do, damn if you don't situation right now'. People will always find a way to criticize him no matter who he fights outside of floyd. Marquez is a lightweight, Berto is untested etc etc etc. Mosley will give both marquez and berto a run for their money if ever they meet atop the ring and mosley will yield the best PPV as far as arum is concerned hence the choice.
Having said that, I still want pacquiao to fight a young undefeated welterweight champion in berto who has defended his title, no matter how ****ty, five times.Comment

He was actually the man to beat at welter when Floyd fought him. As for the Mora fight, has Mosley ever looked good at 154?Comment
