First of all, DLH called out Pac and came up with the catch weight for their fight. Against Cotto, Cotto was 145lbs, down from 146lbs vs Marg and most of his other fights, even Cotto himself admitted that 145lbs was his normal weight during weigh ins. Marg has fought at 147lbs many times way before Manny, so going down to 150lbs shouldn't have been a problem and he wasn't "weight drained", considering that at fight night he was 165lbs vs Manny at 148lbs. Furthermore, as i have posted in my last post, Floyd has done the same thing.

This wasnt meant to be about Floyd. Ive never even defended Floyd. This about PAC fighting a fighter thats actually threat and not having to do a catchweight...

Why doesnt he fight Martinez for the 154 belt? Wait Sergio is too big or too big of a threat. How are you gonna fight Margo for the belt but then Sergio steps up nah im good. Wait Mosely is the best choice right now cause he riding a hot streak of a one sided loss and draw to Mora...Hes bound to bring fans and Money. JMM will bring in more fans than Mosley will. PAC and Mayweather should go on vacation together..Fighters submit at the end because they want the cash..

Im not arguing against your opinion on the mosely fight i agree with you and i also agree with your sentiments about JMM. But Martinez cannot make the weight! He said it himself and he hasn't been a jr middle for 2 ***ing years. You have to accept that Manny was eventually gonna hit a wall as to how far up he could go up in weight classes. The man injests 7 times the required calories a full grown adault needs to maintain their body weight in order to get up to 144 pounds. Isn't it obvious he can't fight martinez who is the Middleweight champion of the world?
