This is a true statement. Bob has made no secret that he has no interest in doing co-promotions when it comes to his cash cow. Only way it makes sense for his checkbook is if it's someone who can justify sharing the wealth with like a Mayweather or someone willing to negotiate a reasonable fee.

I care about making good fights.

And if $5 million makes Pacquiao/Marquez III, then that's fine with me.

I think this sport would be better suited if there were more fans with that state of mind around.
Yeah, that's all and well in Narnia or any other fantasy world but in reality, that's not how things work. $5 million guaranteed is more than Clottey and Margarito's combined fee... which were in-house fights. Plus Marquez wants a lucrative upside on the PPV sales like he's the one pulling them in. That's just plain ridiculous from a logical and business standpoint.

Sorry to burst your bubble though.

Well, he did say he's no accountant..............

See Margo which was inhouse was smart to accept $3mil base with $3 PPV w/c @ 1.15 was easily another $3mil..............JMM wants $8.5 total?

        Eff that.....................
