Screw jirov. Ended baby joe's career. Though joe won that fight.

That top 5 blows.......You aren't overhyped because you lose fights with age or diminishing skills.

Lou DelValle, Mike McCallum, Virgil Hill, Reggie Johnson, etc.......those guys were all champs when Jones fought them. Cmon now, your going out of your way to discredit these guys and didnt mention DeLaHoya? He was worse than anybody else.

1.roy jones jr.(fought in a very weak division and went up to hw to fight the weakest of the bunch)

2.tito trinidad (solid welterweight but not like anyone but old men were left)

3.floyd mayweather jr. (has managed to avoid every tough fight since 135lb)

4.james toney (never won a big fight in his life)

5.mike tyson (when anyones level of skill was above spink's it was basically over)
roy jones did beat alot of nobodys i can see it

felix was solid and nothing more i can see it

floyd is just a very good boxer when it comes to the art of it i concider him amongst the best to ever do it... I cant see it

james toney beat micheal nunn and he had some other big fights, hes never been kod either (maybe choked out) i cant see it

mike tyson destroyed alot of average heavyweights his best opponents were spinks and a washed up holmes... But the man was a f ucking beast!

I think once these guys established themselfs as good exciting fighters the handlers picked their opponents carefully, once money is involved thats where the overhyping comes!

Nah, Spinks was over hyped. Are you saying that Michael Spinks was more skilful than Lennox Lewis???

Spinks made his name by narrowly beating an ageing Holmes of 37 and a decent win over Dwight Muhammad Qawi, he was a great amateur but so was Audley Harrison......

Tyson was probably over hyped to an extent but he was still destroying very good fighters for some time. Its not as if he nicked decisions.

spionks was considered the best pfp fighter at the top, or at least top 2-3.

                  because of his skills

lol at calling jirov a nobody.

By some but when you dissect his career, he fought some great names but well past their sell by date, Holmes was 37 and Spinks won by a S/D in the rematch, this earned him the Tyson shot. He got KO'd almost first punch and retired so...how was he not over-hyped? Also he fought a lot in the weak light heavy division.

                    Great amateur though 100-0.
