After getting his ass kicked by Maidana I don't think he's anywhere close to a fight with Mayweather. He looked real good until he started getting tapped, then he panicked and ran, you panic with Mayweather and it's lights out. Khan is a C+ fighter.

I am not having a go at Amir, or Haye for that matter..... but their decision to retire at 28/30 respectively, stands out in light of recent performances by some of the old master's.

After the Hopkins fight the other night, my mate said "Hopkins eh, far out, that guy was born to fight, he's probably just going to go sit back in his dressing room and wait there until his next fight"

Think of the master-class that Shane put on Margarito, and think of the master-class that Hopkins put on Pascal.

As I say, I am not knocking those other guys, fair call to them..... but I know who the "real" old-school fighters are. They broke the mold when they made Hopkins, but god I hope fighters like that are not a dying breed.

Its a huge mistake by Khan to think he will be ready for Mayweather in a years time. I'm a huge fan of Khan but he's not thinking realistic. Mayweather will have to get old fast to lose to Khan. This is very disappointing.

More and more fighters seemed to be more concerned about making as much money as possible, and getting out as quickly as possible, some of these fighters are not without ducking the odd challenge either.

for every bernard hopkins and mosley there is a muhammad ali and freddie roach.

I'd rather retire early and maintain health rather than turn 35 and get parkisons.

A fighter is supposed to have ambition people. Tell me, who is "arguably" the best fighter of this Generation? Wouldn't it be normal if a young and up and coming fighter wanted to fight him?
