Boxers always think they're being smart when they say they'll retire at 28 or 30, it's their way of saying 'I will get what I want out of the game' and won't end up a punch drunk old fool like some boxers we see. The truth is though, most get used to the big paydays and need boxing to fund their new-found spending habits and end up fighting well into their 30s and even 40s.

The really smart ones are those that don't throw their money around and are no longer reliant on the sport for income. Whether the likes of Khan, Cotto and Haye fall into that bracket remains to be seen.

I think Khans speed would maybe give floyd some problems......i think khans right not to hang around to long as his game is built on speed he wont be fast forever....he has RISEN in my estimations recently though

FLoyd wants it in Los angeles? I thought he wanted to fight in England at least once in his career like SRL, Ali, Hagler and Duran did at least once i believe?

              Does he even want khan?

But khan shouldnt retire at 28. Fighters dont fight often enough so a lot of the next four years will be sitting around not fighting anyone.

He wont have a big body of work if he retires at 28. Age 30 is more realistic.

If a PBF - AK Fight ever happens it wont be in the U.K. The Border Security / Customs guys wont let PBF into the country due to his legal troubles and wont give him a Visa. (Unless UK Customs is as corrupt as american ones are)

The title is wrong? It should be 'Khan will be sent into retirement at 28'. Khan is 2 years away from another brutal loss, mark my words.

Khan is really starting to believe his own hype. SMH. I wonder who advised Khan to talk so much craziness lately. Next thing you'll hear is him saying he wants to clean out the welterweight division starting with Floyd and Pac. That *****tt they smoke in England is highpower.
